WAWEB3 & GFI International Web3 Conference 2024

The long awaited yearly WAWEB3 & GFI International Web3 Conference started with a bang yesterday at The University Club Of Western Australia!

We brought together government representatives, academics, tech enthusiasts, developers, creatives community leaders, entrepreneurs and many more from the WA and ASEAN region.

Here are some of the event highlights:

๐ŸŒ The overarching theme yesterday wraps around a deeper understanding of Web3 from diverse perspectives, we touched on the latest updates and trends in Web3, busted some of the myths of Crypto from media narratives, and the roles of NFT, Metaverse in cross borders economy.

๐Ÿค๐Ÿป MOU agreement signed! Global Fintech Institute will be partnering with WA Web3 Association to promote the development of global fintech, web3 entrepreneurial ecosystem, and cooperate on initiatives including the upcoming launch of FLEX marketplace(stay tuned for details on this!). On top of that, with the agreement we are committed in building a globally connected web3 ecosystem in Western Australia through education, multi-stakeholder relationship facilitation, attraction of talent and capital, and the growth of sustainable physical and digital infrastructure. More updates on our plans for this will be shared soon!
